When will a late fee be assessed and how much will it be?
| A late fee of $50 will be applied to a student's account starting January 4, 2012 if the student has not paid or made arrangements to pay by that date. |
What is the deadline for the college to drop students for non-payment?
You must have your tuition paid for or have arranged to pay it by 11:59pm on January 3rd for the Spring 2012 semester or you will be dropped from all registered classes. If you register after January 4th you must have paid in full or made arrangements to pay by the close of business on the next business day after you register. |
If your federal student aid or loans do not cover the cost of your tuition and/or you just need assistance paying for college, one option is our Tuition Payment Plan offered through Nelnet Business Solutions. The Tuition Payment Plan provides a low cost option for budgeting tuition and fees. It is not a loan program, therefore, you have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The only cost is a $25.00 per semester non-refundable enrollment fee. You can choose to make your monthly payments directly from your bank account or by credit card. MasterCard, American Express, Visa, and Discover are accepted. |
What is the Ivy Tech Debit Card?
Once you become an Ivy Tech student and register for classes you will receive your own Ivy Tech Debit Card in the mail. Any refund you receive from the college will be administered through this card. The card looks much like a debit or credit card. The card is the key to selecting the refund preference (direct deposit, checking account, etc.) that best fits your needs. Refunds can be excess financial aid, student loans, or tuition on a canceled class that Ivy Tech will return to you. Even though you might not be expecting a refund, do not throw the card away…you may receive a refund in the future. Click here for more information. |
