Students must be 18 years of age to take the GED test. A person who is 17 years old may take the GED test provided they have the following:

1. An Official passed practice test
2. An exit interview from the student's high school with the Principal's signature, the signature of the guardian and student's signature

The student is not required to take the Adult Basic Education class, however it may be very helpful.
