What if my COMPASS scores have not been posted yet?
| If you have a copy of your scores, please take that information with you to your local campus for advising. They can be entered at that time. If you are registering on Campus Connect, please contact your local Admissions office (888-IVY-LINE) and ask them to post the scores. |
What is the COMPASS assessment and where do I take it?

The COMPASS assessment is a tool to ensure proper placement into classes. Your success is important to us, so beginning in the right classes is a significant factor in achieving your educational objectives. A photo ID is required at all testing sites. Please allow up to three hours to complete the entire assessment package. Please contact your local Admissions Office for test site locations and hours (888-IVY-LINE). |
Can I take the COMPASS assessment more than once?
| Yes. You may take it twice before your first semester of attendance at Ivy Tech. After that, you may retest once each semester, but no more than three times per year. For more information, please contact your local testing center or Student Affairs office (888-IVY-LINE). |
