Veterans Benefits
Students who served in the armed forces may be eligible for veterans' benefits. The Veterans Administration determines eligibility for all veterans. Applications for educational benefits may be obtained from the Ivy Tech Community College regional Office of Veterans Affairs. The student should apply for these benefits at the earliest possible date. Ivy Tech Community College - Evansville has a veteran affairs advisor to assist veterans. Children of veterans who are deceased or 100 percent disabled as a result of service-connected injury may be eligible for veterans' benefits from the VA.  To apply for benefits please contact the Financial Aid Officey calling 812-429-1428. You may also contact VA directly by calling 1-888-442-4551 or via the internet: www.gibill.va.gov.

Veterans who are currently receiving benefits and need to verify their enrollment can do so by accessing Web Automated Verification of Enrollment (W.A.V.E.).

Children of a Disabled Veteran Fee Remission (CVO)  Indiana residents who are children of deceased or disabled veterans or of veterans who are recipients of the Purple Heart may be eligible for a fee waiver at Ivy Tech Community College. Inquiry concerning this benefit may be made at the Financial Aid Office.
