The Bookstore carries a complete selection of textbooks, workbooks and reference materials. Ivy Tech logo apparel is available.

Used Book Buy Back

A used book buy back is held 2 or 3 days during the last week of each semester. Books and prices are determined by the used book company conducting the buy. Books bought back for the bookstore re-sale will have a higher refund then books purchased otherwise, but there are limited quantities of these titles purchased. Dates, times, and location of the buy will be posted prior to the event throughout the college.

Book Return Policy

Books may be returned for a refund within the first two weeks of the session only.

1. For a full refund on new textbooks, they must be in original packaging (shrink-wrap) AND free from any writing, stains, markings, highlighting or damage of any kind. Books that have been removed from their original packaging. Some books that have been removed from their original packaging may be refunded at 50% during the first two weeks of the session only. Absolutely NO REFUNDS will be granted on textebooks that contain passcodes, cds, etc., or where the Publisher has warened of NO RETURNS on the textbook/package.
2. Clothing…Exchanges ONLY on clothing.  Exchange must be made within 2 weeks of purchase. No garments, which appear to have been worn, will be exchanged.  All tags must be still on the garment.
3. You must have your cash register receipt. We will not accept any return without the proper receipt. No exceptions.

No cash will be issued for refunds. Refunds are made by check only for items purchased with cash or check, and will take approximately 10 days to 2 weeks to process. Refunds to Financial Aid accounts will be creditied to such accounts upon return. Credit card purchases will be credited back to the card.

PLEASE DO NOT MARK IN YOUR BOOKS UNTIL YOU ARE CERTAIN THAT THERE IS NO NEED FOR RETURNING THEM.
