Katowitz Promoted at Ivy Tech Carol Katowitz has been promoted to Division Chair of the Public Services and Arts & Design. She has a bachelor’s degree from both the University of Southern Indiana in Elementary Education and Purdue University in Child Development and Family Life. Katowitz also has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Evansville in Special Education with focus on Learning Disabilities. She has taught for Ivy Tech since 1992 and became Program Chair/Associate Professor for the Early Childhood Education Program in 2000. Katowitz was previously employed by EVSC, St. Vincent’s Day Care and St. John’s Preschool.
