Sherri Flynn has been promoted to Director of the Tell City Site at Ivy Tech Community College.  She has been with the college since August 1998 as an Associate Professor of the Business and Office Administration.  Flynn was previously employed by the Indiana Department of Education, American General Finance, and United States Air Force.  She received her Associate of Applied Science from Xavier University, Bachelor’s in Sociology from Texas A&M, and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  Flynn is a volunteer and supporter of local schools, activities, and sports.  She received the “Hammer Award” for Re-engineering Business from Vice President Gore in 1995.  Flynn also received the honor of Distinguished Graduate from US Air Force Mid-level Managers School and Air Traffic Control Officers Training and was named Air Training Command Woman of the Year.
