Scholarships

Ivy Tech's tuition is the lowest in the state, yet three-fourths of all Ivy Tech students qualify for financial aid. Scholarships funded through charitable contributions help thousands of students continue their education each year.

Faculty Support

Ivy Tech takes pride in its high-caliber faculty. Private donations allow instructors to participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Endowments are gifts that keep on giving. An endowed fund can be established to support scholarships, programs of study, faculty development, or general campus needs. The fund's principal is invested, and only the earnings are used to support the desired project and build the principal value. A minimum gift of $10,000 is required to establish a named endowed account. No fees or overhead are charged.

Endowed chairs

Imagine making a contribution now that will help ensure teaching excellence for generations to come. An endowed chair at Ivy Tech is just such a gift, one that will help the College provide superior educational opportunities for students now and far into the future. A minimum gift of $1.6 million is required to endow a named chair.

Buildings

Ivy Tech is Indiana's hometown college, with campuses in smaller towns as well as big cities. Charitable gifts supplement state funding to build or renovate buildings and classrooms throughout the state, making quality education accessible to all Hoosiers.

Equipment

State-of-the-art instruction requires state-of-the-art equipment. Philanthropic gifts ensure the latest technology is available for programs such as biotechnology, nursing and other medical courses, information technology, manufacturing and automotive technology.
