Fast Track 17+

Goal: To earn an Indiana Department of Education diploma through Ivy Tech Community College .

Criteria:

  • student must be 17 years of age or older
  • student must be actively engaged with a high school AND receive school's consent
  • school corporation will pay costs through ADM (average daily membershipstudent must be able to provide funds for transportation, food service, textbooks and class supplies and materials.
  • student be eligible for placement at the 11 th grade as demonstrated by his/her high school transcript (20 – 25 high school credits successfully complete)
  • student must be able to demonstrate ability to benefit from coursework via Ivy Tech's assessment test (COMPASS) or via SAT or ACT results from test taken within the past 4 years)
  • student must be willing to carry 12 credits (4 classes) each semester

Process:

  1. Complete application for Fast Track
  2. Complete application for Ivy Tech Community College
  3. Deliver official copy (in sealed envelop) from last attended high school
  4. Complete assessment test or present SAT or ACT scores
  5. Meet with Fast Track advisor to schedule classes
  6. Attend courses and successfully (C or higher) complete Fast Track curriculum
