Students
To order your cap and gown, please stop by the Bookstore or the Office of the Registrar to pick up your Authorization for Commencement Attire. You must have this form to order your gown. The form is to be turned in at the bookstore when you order your attire. If you are not participating in the Commencement Ceremony, turn in the authorization form at the Office of the Registrar.

Order your cap and gown on March 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Bookstore. The approximate cost of the cap and gown is $30.00 plus tax. Caps and gowns will be available in the Bookstore after March 19, 2008. Please stop by the Bookstore to be fitted. Please keep in mind that sizing becomes limited closer to May 10.

If you cannot order your gown on March 19, please stop by the Bookstore to place your order no later than March 21.

Candidates for graduation who hold a 3.5 grade point average or better wear honor cords. Candidates who have earned a 4.0 grade point average wear medallions with the college seal. Candidates who are member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society wear honor stoles. Graduating Phi Theta Kappa Members may order PTK Honor Stoles directly from ptk.org at a cost of $18.00.

Faculty and Exempt Staff
In February, faculty and exempt staff will be contacted regarding regalia. The College will order regalia for anyone who does not own regalia.

Information on ordering personalized graduation announcements from Balfour is available in the Bookstore.

Photographs
A professional photographer from Life Touch Events will be at the 2008 Commencement to take photos of graduates. In order to view photos, students will be furnished with a password via Campus Connect or by email. The photos will be available two weeks following Commencement, and will remain on the Life Touch web site for 90 days after the event.
