Fees

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana has the most affordable tuition in Indiana. In-state tuition for 2007-08 is $91.30 per credit hour. Fees are established by the State Board of Trustees and are subject to change.

Technology Fee: All students are assessed a $40 per semester technology fee.

The following additional expenses may apply, depending on the program of study:

Books: All students are expected to purchase required textbooks. The cost of books will vary by class.

Consumable and Lab Fees: There may be additional fees assessed for courses with laboratory requirements or consumable materials. A complete listing of those fees are available at the Registrar's and Business offices.

Tools: The College furnishes major instructional equipment, but students must furnish additional hand tools and equipment for certain courses or programs.

Uniforms and Other Special Equipment: Several programs require students to furnish uniforms and special safety clothing.

Payment of Fees
A student is officially registered and may attend classes once all fees are satisfied. You may pay by check, cash, MasterCard, or Visa. Ivy Tech also offers a deferred payment plan. Late payment fee accessed the Saturday before classes begin.

Refund Policy

Beginning with the Fall 2007 classes, except for the following non-refundable fees: Technology fee, $25 late fee, $25 deferral fee and nursing test fee (amount yet to be determined), a 100% refund approval extends to different length courses as follows-

16 week course (regardless of holidays)

must drop by 10th business day

12 week course

must drop by 8th business day

10 week course

must drop by 6th business day

8 week course

must drop by 4th business day

4 week course

must drop by 2nd business day

Course less than 4 weeks

must drop by 1st business day
