The Virtual Library, www.ivytech.edu/library/muncie , is your gateway to the collections and services available from the East Central Region Libraries of Ivy Tech. Electronic databases provide access to thousands of journals and magazines, as well as to over 30,000 ebooks-all selected to support Ivy Tech programs and lifelong learning.

Located on the Virtual Library homepage under the College logo, Today @ Your Library is the link to a service developed by and for the East Central Region Libraries to provide faculty and students with quick, efficient access to library forms, specific services, and resources. In particular, under the Faculty Resources heading, you will find a link to the Faculty/Staff Information Guide that will answer many of the questions you may have about the libraries and available services.

Helpful forms also available to you from the Today @ Your Library link include the Library Instruction Request , Library Assignment Alert Form , Purchase Recommendation Form , and the Virtual Orientation reporting form .

IvyCat

IvyCat is the computerized library catalog for Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana. IvyCat simultaneously searches the collections of all Ivy Tech campuses throughout the state or the catalog of just one particular campus.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan service allows libraries to obtain books and copies of periodical articles from other libraries. Check the interlibrary loan link on the Virtual Library homepage for detailed information.

IvyTILT

IvyTILT is our online information literacy tutorial that offers an outstanding opportunity for faculty to encourage their students' understanding and usage of information sources. Packaged in six training modules, this interactive resource maintains students' interest and includes quizzes for each module that may be printed out and handed in as part of a class assignment.
