| Student Evaluation
Students are evaluated when they are admitted to the College, during enrollment and prior to graduation. They are required to take part in an initial evaluation prior to the beginning of program work to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Scores are used to determine if academic skills advancement classes are needed to build a solid foundation for success at the College. Students may choose to take the ASSET, which is a written test, or the computerized COMPASS.
Qualified persons will disabilities will be accommodated for the initial evaluation when they provide recent documentation (at least two months advance notice is recommended) to Disability Support Services. Late requests for accommodations may result in a delay for the initial evaluation and enrollment.
