| Practical Nursing The PN Program is a one-year course of study leading to a technical certificate. A two-year part-time option is also available in Muncie. The program prepares students to take the state licensure exam to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Students gain knowledge and skills necessary to appropriately care for patients in a variety of health care settings. Students learn to administer medications and treatments commonly performed by LPNs.
