| Medical Assistant The Medical Assistant Program provides training to develop professional, mult-skilled technicians dedicated to assisting in patient care management primarily in the physician's office. Students learn medical office management, medical transcription, medical assisting laboratory procedures and medical insurance. Technical certificate specialties include generalist, clinical specialties in EMT, gerontology, phlebotomy and cardiographic technician; administrative specialties in transcription, insurance coding, health unit coordinator and pharmacy technician.
