The chemical technology program at Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette did an excellent job at preparing me for the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at Purdue University. The technical skills, laboratory experience, and knowledge of analytical instruments that I obtained from my studies at Ivy Tech gave me a distinct advantage in my upper-division courses at Purdue. I made connections and acquired research experience that otherwise would have not been available to me had I not attended Ivy Tech.
