Testimonials

Ivy Tech Community College does change lives. They have changed my life by providing a quality education, making it affordable, and by providing the classes I need at a variety of times making it more convenient for extremely busy people like me. I appreciate Ivy Tech supplying my classes with quality Professors who can bring the business classes to life by bringing their real world work experience into the classroom with them. It is rare that one gets such a high end product at an affordable price. Now more than ever I am very particular to whom I give my time and my hard earned money to. I am glad to say Ivy Tech is worth every second and every penny.

I have been laid off for two and a half years now, and through a government program called TAA, I am able to pursue a college education (Associates Degree) in Business Administration. I've had over 19 years experience in as Operations Manager in three different large corporations. So I truly know what is required of a manager in today's industry. My experience as a student at Ivy Tech, so far, has been exciting and rewarding. The staff you have, as adjunct instructors and professors who teach this program, are extremely dedicated to us as students. Each has been extremely proficient and efficient in providing students the necessary tools to become good managers in this modern secular system. Their teaching styles, though varied, are preparing their students for jobs as business managers in a volatile and complicated business world. In my opinion, your staff is the top of the line! Thank you for your personal assistance to me as well! It has been a wonderful opportunity indeed!

My experience in the Business Department. has not only been educational but also rewarding. I have found all the instructors in this Dept. to be very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Finally I can't say enough about how I have enjoyed the opportunity to learn as well as present experiences from my own career. I know the lessons I have learned at Ivy Tech will be a huge asset in my future endeavors.

I have been a student at Ivy Tech since August of 2009 and the experience has been nothing but positive overall. Other students, staff and professors have been nothing but great. I chose Ivy Tech because classes were cost efficient and small in comparison to a university. Announcements posted regularly keeps you informed to campus activities, career postings and other relevant information. I appreciate the fact that Ivy Tech always has openings to participate in leadership positions such as campus president, community and volunteer activities, acknowledgment for academic achievements from the Dean's List to the honor society.

My favorite parts of attending Ivy Tech have been the smaller capacity classes, the accessibility to the professors, the friendly students, and the many subjects learned to further expand my knowledge...The professors are just as knowledgeable as those in other universities, your counterparts are willing to form groups to help each other achieve a common goal, the smaller capacity classes are beneficial to your collegiate career, and the overall experience will leave a positive, lasting impression.

To be honest, I was skeptical as to how I would do after being out of school for so long. Ivy Tech has changed my life more than I could have imagined prior to enrolling. It gives me the ability to relate to what's going on not only in America, but abroad. I can better articulate and communicate with people about various issues, help shape my children's collegiate future, knowledge to start my business, and enhance my skills and abilities to apply to the real world. To say I have surprised even myself would be an understatement. Thank you Ivy Tech!
