COLTON MURRAY, Assistant Director of Retention
I have been with the College for 5 years as a student, work study, and full-time employee.
I started attending Ivy Tech in fall of 2008 after I graduated high school. While attending Ivy Tech as a student, I also worked as a work study with the college. I started out working in the Registrar’s office for 1 year. During my second year here at Ivy Tech I was a work study in the Student Development hallway and during the summer of 2010, I worked as a part-time employee in the Student Development hallway. In my last year of school, I accepted a full-time position with the college. I continued working in the Student Development hallway through the fall semester and at the start of spring term in 2011, I moved over to Advising. In October of 2012, I moved back over to the Student Development hallway to serve as the Assistant Director of Retention. It has been a great experience helping students succeed and reach their goals working in the Retention department, as well as, the other departments I have worked in.
I graduated from Ivy Tech in 2010 with two Associate’s Degrees in Industrial Maintenance and Heating, Cooling, and Ventilation. I then continued my education to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from American Military University in early 2013. I plan to earn my Master’s Degree in the near future.
I look forward to meeting with you and helping you succeed and achieve your educational goals.
