Ivy Tech’s Liberal Arts program provides you with an associate of science or associate of arts degree so you can transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree in a Liberal Arts major. You’ll receive broad exposure to a traditional Liberal Arts course of study, including art, English, literature, psychology, philosophy, music, sociology, history, social sciences, and laboratory sciences. Although most studies use this degree as the foundation of a bachelor’s degree, you can also start a career in select fields.

Ivy Tech Community College - Bloomington's Associate of Science Degree in General Studies now transfers to Indiana University!

The articulation agreement between Indiana University-Bloomington and Ivy Tech allows students in an Associate of Science Degree in General Studies to transfer into Indiana University’s Bachelor’s Degree of General Studies.
