Ivy Tech History
Founded in 1963 to provide vocational and technical education, Ivy Tech Community College has experienced a massive transformation in recent years. The most pivotal change occurred in 2005 as Ivy Tech became Indiana's official community college system. Ivy Tech Community College is proud to continue serving the needs of students and employers by offering new academic programs, credit transfer opportunities to four-year colleges and universities, and workforce development for local employers
