Aloha! Welcome to Hawaii! (Grades 3-5)

    What does aloha mean?

''Aloha'' means more than hello or goodbye. ''Aloha'' means caring for each other without expecting anything in return from the other person. "Aloha" is the important part of relationships in which each person is special to every other person.

Our Hawaiian journey will lead us to one of the most famous Hawaiian singers, Iz. The book “The Good Song” is based on the life of Israel Kamakawiwo’ole (1959-1997) and celebrates the inspiration behind Iz’s medley of “Over the Rainbow” and “What a Wonderful World”. Each participant will receive a copy of the book, as well as a t-shirt.
