TRAINING DESCRIPTION

Supervisors are evaluated not only on what they can do, but to a large extent on what they can get other people to do. An important part of a supervisor's job is to motivate other people to want to perform activities that are necessary to achieve the organizations goals.

Although supervisors may want to motivate their employees, they soon find it is a complex challenge, something that is difficult to discuss in concrete terms. In order to get results through other people, supervisors must understand what causes people to act in the desired way. The Motivation in the Workplace workshop is designed to give your supervisors the basic skills needed to motivate their employees.
