Electrical Safety
Students will be trained in, and become familiar with, the safety-related work practices required by OSHA standards, Subpart S. The training requirements contained in this section apply to employees who face a risk of electric shock that is not reduced to a safe level by the electrical installation requirements of 1910.303 through 1910.308. Arc Flash safety precautions will also be a part of this class.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

The Electrical Safety training class will be taught in a lecture and discussion format utilizing various forms of visual aids and video/written media.

DVD: Electric Case Histories: Fatal Shock, Arc Flash, Machine Guarding, Lockout/Tagout: Lightning in a Bottle Hearing Protection, Electrical Safety for the Qualified Worker

HOURS AND COST

Your Electrical Safety course includes 8 contact hours of instruction for up to 6 employees. 0.8 IACET Approved CEUs will be awarded with the successful completion of the 8 hour class. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, handouts, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
