In creating a JIT system, people involved in performing the work process are the linchpin in lean implementation and process improvement. Flow or cellular manufacturing involves rearranging traditional operation-based layouts into process-based cells that promote a smooth production flow. A pull system links the production process to customer demand and cuts out waste. Kanban then works in conjunction to manage pull production. Choose of of two shopfloor workbooks.
