This class explores the career field of nursing and provides students with an overall description of a career in nursing.  Students will be exposed to the many facets involved in this career and, once completing this 2-day camp, will have a much better idea of a career in nursing.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

This instructor led course focuses on exposing students to a career in nursing.  Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a certificate of completion, T-shirt, tote bag and nursing textbook.  Application requirements include a completed application form, including recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor and a TB test, administered within the past 12 months, copy of all immunizations and liability release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

HOURS

Your Discover Nursing course is a 16-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 20 participants.  1.6 IACET approved CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.  Pricing includes training administration, instruction, class handouts and materials, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
