TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS
This instructor led course is derived from the elements of: basic dental anatomy, dental dam application, placing and contouring matrices, pit and fissure sealants, polishing and finishing amalgam and composite restorations. Sequencing of the restorative procedures is designed so each class meeting builds on the previous class. Each element makes a unique contribution to understanding the material.
Prerequisites include possession of a current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential or employer recommendation verifying two (2) years of practical experience.
HOURS
Your Dental Assisting course is a 56-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 8 participants. 5.6 IACET approved CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, textbooks & class materials, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training. Attendance at each class session is mandatory. If a class session is missed, the student cannot complete the course.
