Ivy Tech Community College has partnered with Lewellyn Technologies to deliver Hands-On Variable Frequency Drives training. In this course, participants will learn about the operation, setup and maintenance of AC Variable Frequency Drives.The training is designed to familiarize maintenance personnel with the concepts and principles necessary to make them better troubleshooters. Regardless of the manufacturer, all AC variable frequency drives have two major components: an AC induction motor and a variable speed controller.
Understanding these components and how they work will increase the ability to troubleshoot in a variety of applications.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS
In this two-day seminar, participants will learn the operation, setup and maintenance of AC Variable Frequency Drives. The course is designed to familiarize maintenance personnel with the concepts and principles necessary to repair and troubleshoot VFD systems, and utilizes hands-on training aids.
HOURS
Your Hands-On Variable Frequency Drives course is a 16-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 8 participants. 1.6 IACET Approved CEUs will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.
