Technical Troubleshooting

This course will provide industrial technicians, maintenance personnel and various other related personnel, skills and knowledge to troubleshoot technical problems within an industrial facility.  It will focus on common problems and ways to find the root cause.  The course will also provide the participants an understanding and application of the newest technologies that are being implemented into industrial maintenance.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Demonstrate safe practice and procedures.
  • Describe the basic troubleshooting techniques
  • Effectively read and use pictorial diagrams, schematics and ladder diagrams to troubleshoot and understand the operational sequence of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot common mechanical and electronic controls associated with industrial maintenance.
  • Demonstrate ability to safely test and troubleshoot equipment
  • Asses priorities in breakdown maintenance and emergency work

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

This instructor led course with reference text, focuses on troubleshooting techniques in an industrial setting, including breakdown (emergency) maintenance and planned maintenance events.  

HOURS

Your Technical Troubleshooting course is a 24-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 12 participants.  2.4 IACET approved CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.  Pricing includes training administration, instruction, textbooks and course materials, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
