MSSC Certified Production Technician

The MSSC Certified Production Technician certification is the nationally recognized certification supported by the National Association of Manufacturers. The training will enable workers to build the core knowledge and skills required in modern advanced manufacturing.

This course will validate with the certification the worker’s technical, academic and employability skills needed in the modern manufacturing environment.  The four modules comprising the course are:

• Safety

• Maintenance Awareness

• Quality and Continuous Improvement

• Manufacturing Process and Production

The Certified Production Technician certification is awarded to those that successfully pass each of the four component examinations

Training description and materials

Training is delivered in one of three models.  Each model involves extensive use of on-line media rich simulations.

1. Integrated:  140-training hours featuring a fully blended learning environment combining full certified trainer instruction with on-line components, delivered in a comprehensive (integrated) format of the four modules.

2. Fast Track: 72-training hours featuring an accelerated pace of the integrated model.  This offering is only for very experienced production workers. All content is offered on-line.

3. Modular: 45-training hours per module featuring an exclusive focus on one specific module.  Delivery can also be offered in a fully on-line version, providing instructor availability for on-line chat and e-mail questions.

Your MSSC Certified Production Technician program is offered by delivery method, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 8 participants.
