Crawl Space Foundations
This seminar presents the Code Requirements for footers, International Residential Code (IRC) 2003 Code including amendments, load transfer requirements, tables for block sizes and code updates in all areas – foundation bolts, slab foundations, vented crawls, conditioned crawl space, sump pit or drain to daylight, insulation, vapor barrier, exterior grade, and lot drainage.  The advantages and disadvantages of different systems will be discussed.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

This instructor led course will focus on current Indiana County Building Code requirements.   It is recommended that the students have a copy of The International Residential Code for one- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2003 edition or higher.

HOURS

Your Crawl Space Foundations course is a 3-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 20 participants.  0.3 IACET CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.  Pricing includes training administration, instruction, class handouts, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
