Coupling Alignment
This course will provide participants an understanding and application of correct alignment of industrial process machinery.  The course provides instruction in troubleshooting and repair of coupled machines.

Course Objectives

-Identify coupling types and axis of freedom.

-Describe basic types of misalignment.

-Describe how misalignment is corrected.

-Describe procedures for measuring thermal growth.

-Describe how to correct misalignment in the vertical plane.

-Discuss laser alignment.

-Describe how to correct misalignment in the horizontal plane.

-Perform equipment leveling and alignment.

Training description and materials

This instructor led course with reference text focuses on the study and application of coupling alignment. This course provides participants the ability to demonstrate competencies in coupling alignment.

 

Hours and Cost

You’re Coupling Alignment course is a 32-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 8 participants.  3.2 IACET approved CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.  Pricing includes training administration, instruction, textbook and course materials, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
