CNC Turning II
This course covers advanced skills and topics for the safe and proper set-up, operation, preparation, and programming of CNC turning centers. This course utilizes industry standard tooling and equipment, and culminates with a nationally recognized certification part and exam. The NIMS Level II CNC Turning II Certification is a portable skills document verified and recognized by industry professionals.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

This instructor led course with reference text and workbook, focuses on the processes required to manufacture precision quality parts with minimal waste. Students learn by doing with hands on projects, supplemented with focused lectures, additional reference materials, and continual improvement through the instructor's experience and guidance. For experienced or advanced students, CNC Turning II can be customized to include specialized, industry or company specific equipment or materials, advanced course material, or other specialized needs.

HOURS

Your CNC Turning II (NIMS Level II) course is a 40 hour training activity scheduled at your convenience for up to 8 participants maximum.

Training includes all course textbooks and materials, training administration, instruction, participant use of tool-crib, activity evaluation, and NIMS certification testing fee.
