This course covers air conditioning and heating systems used on modern vehicles.  Instruction emphasizes the operation and theory of the air conditioning and its components. Vacuum and electronic control circuits are included. Federal regulations for handling and recycling of all refrigerants will be stressed.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

This instructor led course with reference text and workbook focuses in part on the study and application of climate control systems.  Lab assignments allow the student a hands-on approach to learning. 

HOURS

Your Automotive Climate Control Systems course is a 28-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 10 participants.  2.8 IACET approved CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.  Pricing includes training administration, instruction, textbook & course materials, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.  Students will be provided a basic set of hand tools, safety glasses, and dark blue shop coat.  Glasses and coat must be worn at all times when working in the automotive lab.
