Typing is an excellent way to introduce students to computer literacy and to improve one’s ability to interact with the computer. When you know how to type, you do not have to search for the key to press and you can concentrate on the application at hand.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

TRAINING DESCRIPTION

These training exercises provide simple to more complex exercises to train finger placement and movement, with demonstration and timing, for all keys on a keyboard. Scores and timing are recorded for each exercise.

Your Typing/Keyboarding workshop includes 4 contact hours for up to 10 employees. 0.4 IACET Approved CEUs will be awarded with successful completion of the 4 hour workshop. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, participant text, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training. **Mavis-Beacon keyboarding license available at an additional cost.
