Personal Computer Boot Camp
The purpose of this course is to teach participants the inner workings of the common personal computer.The class will be based mostly in the hardware components and subsystems that are vital to the operation of any household PC. During this course, participants are expected to be able to not only understand the operation of key components but also to demonstrate how the components are physically installed. To help increase retention of key points, the class will be separated into teams that will compete for points.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

This instructor-led course with reference to supplied handouts focuses on the internal components of the personal computer. Students will receive handouts and complete hands-on exercises with the components. Instructor will utilize team competition to confirm transfer of knowledge.

HOURS

Your Personal Computer Boot Camp course is a 10-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 12 participants. 1.0 IACET Approved CEUs will be awarded following successful completion of the course. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, handouts, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
