This workshop is for mental health professionals who have already attended the two-day basic training in Motivational Interviewing or a comparable course. Students should have experience using the basic Motivational Interviewing (M.I.) skills and providing M.I. in individual treatment. This session will show participants how the spirit and methods of Motivational Interviewing can be incorporated into group treatment and used to address a variety of client issues.

HOURS
Your Motivational Interviewing in Group Treatment course includes 7 contact hours of training for up to 11 participants. With successful completion of the 7 hour course, 7 hours of Approved Category I Continuing Education credit for mental health professionals will be awarded as well as 0.7 IACET Approved CEUs.
