TRAINING DESCRIPTION

This course will provide the foundation for effective and responsible e-mail use. We will start by setting the stage for understanding the advantages and disadvantages of e-mail followed by simple Internet etiquette guidelines and practices. Participants will learn simple strategies for writing e-mail and managing e-mail. Lastly,we will discuss the importance of external communications and customer service. This course will employ a variety of teaching methods to interactively learn together. Scenarios and E-Buddy activities will encourage learning and participation.

HOURS

Your Email: Communicate Effectively workshop is a 4 hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for 10 participants. 0.4 IACET Approved CEUs will be awarded upon successful completion of the workshop.
