Value Stream Analysis/Process Mapping
6 hrs.
0.6 CEU's
Value Stream Analysis and Process Mapping are methods used to depict any process in a graphic format. The graphics visually display how tasks or steps are performed, the time spent on each, and the value of each task to the overall process. Evaluation of processes by VSA and mapping eliminated duplication, maximizes added value, reduces cycle time, and simplifies processes. This is the gateway tool to start and prioritize CI and Lean implementation planning .
- Create a “current state” map
- Identify waste and the value streams
- Calculate the best process path
- Develop a “future state” map
- How to implement the changes successfully
5S Housekeeping/Organization Techniques

You will learn:
- Difference between push and pull systems
- How to prepare for pull production
- How to balance the line or process
- How to create new cell layouts
- How to get the ultimate one-piece pull
- A one-piece pull simulation case study
