Ivy Tech Community College - Wabash Valley Region opened its doors in 1968 and serves students in Clay , Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, Vigo and part of Greene counties. Today there are more than 5,500 students are enrolled at the Terre Haute campus and more than 1,000 students take classes at Ivy Tech in Greencastle.
